Rishi Kapoor’s 80s
(I’ve tried to avoid some of the more obvious moments.. a sequel will follow eventually)
Aap Ke Deewane
Bade Dilwala
Yeh Vaada Raha
Rahi Badal Gaye
Sitamgar
Hawalat
Chandni

Hope the song “Hoga Tumse Pyara Kaun” from Zamaane ko Dikhaana Hai makes it in the sequel post!
Thanks for this: the combo of youtube and your encyclopedic memory makes this sort of post one of my most awaited on this blog…

Thanks Satyam . Rishi was my favourite actor after Bachchan , don’t believe Indian cinema has produced a more natural and efortless actor before or since . Would have been possibly hindi cinema’s biggest star for years if it wasn’t for Bachchan’s emergence and dominance causing the shift of to action in hindi cinema .

There is something immensely likeable about his persona and a natural ease and spontaneity in his acting. Inspite of his chikna looks was immediately believable as Rangeela Ratan.
