Satyam,
Have you seen Rajput and if you have did you particularly care for it. I liked it to some extent to have seen it twice. This particular Rajesh Khanna song was pretty good. Akela gaiyan tha me, mere sang sang aaya teri yadoon ka mela.

I like it quite a bit, even a bit beyond its merits. It has the starcast and the setup but not the sort of cohesive screenplay that really builds up in a cumulative way. I also love the holi song here:

I liked RED ROSE quiet a bit….Khanna was psycho here!

Rajesk Khanna did indeed look like a psycho here but having seen the Tamil original with Kamal’s superb performance I have no real appreciation for the remake (barring two great Burman tunes):

And Poonam Dhillon.

He was unbearable in movies like Maqsad with a tight T shirt, protruding belly and mouthing double meaning dialogues.

Maqsad is one of the worst movies… Rajesh Khanna was really pathetic in the 80s for the most part anyway..

and let’s give people a sense of this Rajesh Khanna!

Rajesh Khanna keeping up with the sex & violence era of the ’80s. He was being bold…..too bold.
