I don’t understand this cover. He hasn’t looked this way in ages. For months he had the Raavan look, then the Paa one. Wonder why an older picture has been used here..
aishwarya looks like a fairy or an apsara – straight from the heaven….i envy abhi…..feel happy for him because he is a gem of a human being…what a wonderful couple….gods must be envying…
Big B releases reproduction of his father’s poetry in Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 29 : Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan released a reproduction of his father’s poetry at a gala event here on Saturday.
The event “Bachchan Sandhya” was organised to release the reproduction of celebrated poet, late Harivansh Rai Bachchan titled ‘Madhushala’.
Junior Bachchan (Abhishek), who plays father to Amitabh in the latest movie ‘Paa’ was also present on this occasion. He expressed happiness to be able to recite his grandfather Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poems along with other family members for the first time.
“I am feeling very good. For the first time, the third generation of Bachchan’s, I, Aishwarya, my sister Sweta and other cousins will be reciting my grandfather’s poems. Also, Paa will be reciting poems which have always been very important to us and very memorable,” he said.
A host of Bollywood celebrities attended the event and paid respect to the late poet ‘s work. Bachchan’s family friend and Samajwadi leader Amar Singh also attended the event.
“To the best of my knowledge and also what I have learnt from the family too is that today the entire family is here together. Third generation is here. Paa is going to be reciting little poems from his work,” said Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The book contains both English and Hindi version of the poems.
The daughter of Amitabh Bachchan’s elder brother has also illustrated the poems through sketches, which have been published inside the book.

This one is strictly for Paa. Not just the film, but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Pa, Amitabh Bachchan.
A stickler for discipline, punctuality and strict schedules during shooting Sanjay Bhansali is known to shoot through burning fevers and location setbacks, so that his actors’ dates don’t go awry. For the first time in his career as a filmmaker, Sanjay is voluntarily slackening his schedule for Aishwarya.
Later this week Aishwarya will be given a couple of days off at a time when she is required to shoot with Hrithik Roshan. A friend of Sanjay and Aishwarya says, “Aishwarya is not just a leading lady for Sanjay. After doing three films together they are family. Sanjay saw how stressed Aishwarya was, trying to balance Guzaarish with the time required to pitch in with her father-in-law for Paa. In fact, Mr Bachchan has been running around alone inviting the film fraternity for the premiere on December 3 since Abhishek has been shooting non-stop in Goa for Ashutosh Gowariker and Jayaji is in Delhi attending parliament.”
Earlier this week Sanjay decided to give her a break. A common friend says, “When she expressed her helplessness about being unavailable to help Mr Bachchan, Sanjay made up his mind to give her an off on those crucial days on and before the premiere, although it meant considerable schedule adjustment on his part.”Sanjay reveals, “It’s no big deal. Adjusting my schedule is the least I can do for someone who has been a dear friend for many years. But this was not done for Aishwarya. It was for Paa and Mr Bachchan. It’s a very special moment for the family.”

Yes, I remember reading about this earlier. They were relaunching the book, which had been previously published in his lifetime.

Dr Hariwans Rai “Bachchan ji ” was a Shining Constellation of HINDI Literature. We remember him with deep respect & great fondness.
Aishwarya is Gorgeous & Jaya is dinified .
Amitabh’s devotion for his Father is remarkable .
Abhishek , follows in this great tradition .
