Imran is slightly odd-looking and combined with his deadpan tone is a good fit for comedy. I thought he was effective in his debut as well. But it’s a smart idea here to re-trace Yashraj and Johar and their ‘romances’ in wry fashion as looks to be the case here. and produced by Johar himself! effective teaser. The pair looks good too. Should be a very successful multiplex film.

Imran tried to break the stereotype unsuccessfully and too early with Kidnap and Luck. This looks like a rom com and will help him build his fan base

yeah those were foolish choices.. he looks too much the chocolate hero to play a kidnapper and so on.. and of course you need to build a certain credibility with your base to move on..

d feel is very much like wake up sid..!! dunno ..if i m interested as yet..coz all we know abt the movie nd d story is..d girl believes in love..d guy doesn’t..so wat??!! dats a bit blah..lets see..maybe future teasers will be more interesting..this one is only okay-ish!!

It would be really cool and different if for once we had the girl not believing in love — the opposite has been done to death. I thought Bachna Ae Haseenon took some steps in that direction with Deepika’s character, but the film chickened out by the end.

yea i agree, this doesn’t look anything great…1 believes in love one doesn’t…make a few jokes in the beginning then they both date others, only for the guy to realize that he loves her, so he goes and gets her during her wedding weekend.
based on this brief teaser, doesn’t look all that great, except for the casting…but i’m not an imraan fan…sonam looks great and i liked her in both saawariya and d6, so i hope she continues to get good movies and she picks good scripts…i liked her first two choices.
when will kjo’s movies not have any references to kuch kuch hota hai or one of his or yash raj movies?

we might in the film.. there’s a RNBDJ reference.. so he keeps upto date! We might even get a reference to the animated Koochie Koochie Hota Hai! The characters might even talk about how huge SRK is in Poland!

The real test is next season. Getting 4 th is one thing, but with Liverpool and Man City who should get better, Spurs will have to really buy well to contest for top 4 again. I would just be happy for them to reach the group stages of Champs League. Thats a good pot of money if it happens. Anything else would be a bonus.

this one is not looking good in terms of quality, but i think it could hit the right note as a date movie w/ the young crowd. songs are prob like junk food, u consume them and then forget it…nothing that stays w/ u.

The film does have quite a hangover, not just the Dil Chahta Hai one but even at the level of particular shots (the song trailer seems to have quite a Love Aaj Kal overhang, with the couple half-out of the taxi, etc.)…

someone need to tell this “boy” that he has miles to go b4 aping his mammu .
maybe someone HAS told him this and so he is doing this “romcom” with sonam, who incidentally tried to attempt something similar too early and failed-sawariya,d6.
however, she does manage to look intersting here. but for me (as mentioned earlier innocently to mansi) her moment so far in her brief career was her wanton, childlike, alluring consumption of the sugarcane in that d6 song…that ONE shot gave me some hope for her. Imran (for me) has yet to have a moment till now….”listless” is the word i was looking for…

I liked the movie trailer of this one more than I care to admit. I sense a huge multiplex hit here. And both ,imraan and Sonam looked like a million bucks here.
Imraan is going to right back in the mix with this one.

Feel imran is more inspired or affected by aamir career moves than he admits. Todd that he has had some reality check and signed this seemingly safe project for his sake. There still remains the lack of spontaneity and rehearsed appearance that bothers me bout him.—-like aamir. Also he starrted behavin too big for his boots too early.
Mus add— sinam kapoor has had ONE gr8 SHOT in her career- the sugarcane scene from g6 song–hope she progresses from that one shot.
The music is not. Bad— vishal shekhars best since Dostana
