As WSJ reported today, Anil Ambani’s Reliance ADA is discussing a tie-up with Universal Studios to build a massive theme park in Mumbai or Delhi. The $1.5 billion facility is to have a mix of Hollywood- and Bollywood-themed attractions.
That got us thinking: What would make for a good Bollywood amusement park attraction?
Here are some suggestions from India Real Time.:
1) Bollywood Karaoke: Pick a film, a song, a dream-sequence background (Swiss Alps, Singapore, etc.) and sing at the top of your lungs.
2) Fake Encounter: An arcade shooting game in which a rogue police officer guns down a local gang member with whom he has a long-running feud and then is never brought to justice for the murder.

Didn’t know about this! If it were upto Yashraj it would just be about moving from one Swiss location to another! If it were upto Johar the SRK ride would be mandatory! I have of course been referring to the horror rides.

lol..
the capital’s not ready for the commonwealth games.. infrastructure and other arrangements have been a disaster in delhi and the games are just a couple of months away..
3500 crores seem to have been distributed among the authorities as wedding presents

Difference is one is made by private sector other is by Government.

sounds good!
i was in zurich earlier this year and the real switzerland did not match up to the one i’ve grown up seeing in Yashraj films…there were no beautiful ladies wearing sareers in the snow :=(
