I realize I am arguing against an audience where even a monkey engaging in a slapping contest with the film’s lead star is somehow considered more ‘acceptable’ than a major effort on the part of the country’s leading commercial director (and more) just because one runs at the box office and the other doesn’t but the box office is the one ‘site’ perhaps where horses cannot outrun donkeys. This is no reason not to prefer the former ride over the latter!
If I am “most ridiculed” on the forums I’d take that as a compliment. I would really start worrying if I were liked on the same. I cannot say I have any ambitions to be popular on these forums much as I have no ambitions to make the case for high art in noisy fish markets.
I shall repeat a North Indian story I heard somewhere not so long ago about the poet Ghalib. He was in conversation with a gentleman about mangoes. At some point the latter exclaimed “who’s the donkey who likes mangoes?!” Ghalib retorted “Indeed, donkeys do not like mangoes.”
Abhay Deol’s character who is cocky and arrogant but funny and nice as well is getting married. He and his two childhood friends played by Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar decide to go on a road trip throughout Spain before his wedding. Katrina who plays a vivacious girl and Kalki join them on the way.
what a joke! Not sure if this will work or not as it is a total female centric theme. Especially releasing against Sallu’s DaBang, it wont work. From the promos it looks lame.
Snagglepuss is a Hanna-Barbera cartoon character created in 1959[2], a pink anthropomorphic mountain lion voiced by Daws Butler.[1] He is best known for his famous catchphrase, “Heavens to Murgatroyd!”[1], along with phrases such as “Exit, stage left!”
typical project “design” by kjo.
manages to make both kajol and kareena ugly in the top most pic—doesnt take much talent to make kareena look ugly…surpirisnlgy she seems to be holding v well wrt kajol in the few promos seen here.
as much as i hate her mentality, attitude and facial features, kareena is undoubtedly has v good actress (and has a good physique–till now)…
somehow kareena seems to be performing quite well here, and doesnt seem to be “competing” by kajol’ doesnt seem overawed by the obviously alented actress
“The only way this film would be interesting is if there was a shootout ending”—haha
Just bcos no big hero agreed to do this heroine-centric movie, doesnt mean y arjun has been taken here.
Actually arjun rampal is not as bad/ wooden as many believe, but does not seem to be fitting the bill here —needed a better actor of some sort—anyhow, nothing can persuade to check this one out—even if it had nude scenes of the lead actors—lol—joking…

Apparently they ran a contest on twitter to select the title, but it’s not clear whether this title came from fans or the Dharma staff.
July 1, 2010 at 7:53 PM
As long as Kajol and Kareena have about ten bitchfights in the movie, then I’ll be happy. Can’t stand nicey nicey movies.
