My Review of LAMHAA (Hindi, 2010)

A number of films have tackled the burning issue of Kashmir on celluloid whether it’s Mani Rathnams ROJA, Ashok Pandit’s underrated SHEEN right to Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s MISSION:KASHMIR. LAMHAA looked like much of the same however the main reason the I had higher than usual expectations from the film was because the director was Rahul Dholakia whose last film PARZANIA tackled the Gujarat with poignancy and sensitivity. Sadly LAMHAA is a let down…
