Is this a Malalayam film (looks to be so from the posters) or a Hindi one? I ask because I remember reading some time ago that Amitabh Bachchan turned down a Tamil film, much as he liked it, because he couldn’t speak Tamil, and he and the producers didn’t think the audience would accept another (dubbed) voice coming out of his mouth.
Apart from KPAC Lalitha, no one impressed (Universal star title cards got a nice applause in crowd. But Lalettan was mostly out of touch. That’s not shocking if you see most of his performances this decade).
Agree- Major Ravi really needs to quit making films- and Lal really needs to figure out how to get better movies. That said, I still have to see Shikhar and Ivide Swargamaanu which I believe are his better recent efforts- hoping to do so over the holidays.

“The Universal star Lt Col.Mohanlal” opening credits alone would get the whole theater roaring.

Looks okay, but again a rather pointless exercise considering it’s bringing these two together. Can’t even get it right the second time around!
