My Review of TEES MAAR KHAN (Hindi, 2010)

If there was one film that was highly awaited in 2010 it was Farah Khan’s TEES MAAR KHAN and for a huge number of reasons. Firstly Khan signed Akshay for the title role over her usual favourite of 2 films MAIN HOON NA and OM SHANTI OM, both of which were blockbusters. Secondly Akshay Kumar donning the “Khan” mantle was seen by some SRK fans as a direct taunt to the “King” (Khan that is) and lastly because it promised to be a star-studded bonanza about a con-man conducting the biggest heist of his career. The cherry on top was of course Katrina’s Shelia and her “jawani” which was an absolute rage. So does the movie live up to hype? Sadly not as TEES MAAR KHAN is Farah Khan’s weakest film to date.
