A quick note on NO PROBLEM (Hindi, 2010)

Anees Bazmee has gotten the title of a “hit” director as almost everything he’s directed in his career has turned into gold. PYAAR TO HONA HI THA, DEEWANGEE, NO ENTRY, WELCOME, and SINGH IS KINNG. There has been the odd glitch along the way long-delayed Govinda starrer SANDWICH (not a bad film) and the presumably shelved BOURNE IDENTITY remake BENAAM with Ajay Devgan. His next release NO PROBLEM looked like a no-brainer all the way and most people were certain this was a “given” hit in many ways. However NO PROBLEM turns out to be a surprisingly disapointing comedy which takes the viewer completely for granted.
