Well, ihave always loved the way people design posters and how they did even have some meaning, or they could be funny, but i guess i prefer the former one.
1. Character/alphabet design symbolism
for eg: (one of my all time favourites)
Look at the way Letter “L” of Lakshya is quite dazy, but then comes “A” which is less dazy… “K” “s” more less dazy.. “H” Quite strong and bold.. “A” Complete and wholesome

“At this age, I feel I am going to have a problem signing my cheques very soon. Really, you can forget how to do your own signature and that’s a problem. At this age, your hands are not steady….your handwriting deteriorates, that is already noticeable now with me…” He smiles, and then, for a moment, looks at his hands calmly resting on the table. Hands that wave at cheering crowds; helping hands that reach out to Rahim Chacha in Deewar; big, long hands that many beautiful women once hoped to hold. “So, I deliberately do as much as I can, if I can, with the pen and not use computers,” he smiles again. It’s Tuesday evening at Janak, the new bungalow behind Jalsa, his home.

You’ve just produced a high school musical, Always Kabhi Kabhi. And you talk very fondly of your school (St. Columba’s, Delhi). Does it take you back to your school days?
My school was very strict; run by Irish brothers. They were all amazing teachers, but very strict. I used to get caned everyday. I think that’s not allowed anymore. But I used to get whacked everyday for my long hair. And I was sent from the school every week to get my hair cut on the roadside, which is why my hairstyle has never gotten better. It used to be very embarrassing at assemblies. The Irish brothers would call out for me in their strict tone, “come here”. And I would be promptly told, “Go down the road in Gole Market and get a haircut from a roadside barber.” I’d reach the place in the morning and he (the barber) would have gook in his eyes and bad breath. The first thing he would ask me is, “Which cut do you want: Dharmendra or Amitabh (Bachchan)?” I remember (actor) Amrita Singh used to be my childhood friend in Delhi. Sometimes she would take me swimming. Once I went underwater swimming after a haircut on the roadside. When she came out, she said, “Over the water, you look ugly, under the water, you look scary.” But when I see Aryan and Suhana, I realise schools have become easier now. You couldn’t be a badmaash (truant) in my school. Read more »

After the success of the critically acclaimed Shor in the City, director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are all set to make a zomcom! No, that’s not a typo, but is, instead of a romantic comedy (romcom), a zombie comedy. Unlike Hollywood, the Indian audience will for the first time see an out-of-the-box, unique concept on celluloid. Contrary to earlier reports which stated that Saif Ali Khan was to play a cameo in the film, buzz is that he will be playing the central character (the zombie perhaps?). However, everything about his character has been kept under wraps.

When I heard this title, I thought it was some comedy or spoof. But having seen this trailer, and that it is directed by the reasonably talented commercial filmmaker Jon Favreau, I believe this will be a fun genre mash-up.
