Ro.one.y recommends Ra.one
Ra.one reminds you B grade popsoda flicks that just fizzles out, and non application of mind at its best, but the reason is its purely a kiddo flick, and as i am no longer a kiddo, i may not understabd whether its well made on that front!
Ambition is there to be seen but with intelligence far worst than that of Krish, though vfx are better.
Also potholes are far worst than roads of madhya pradesh, but that isnt a compliment.
IT ALSO reminds one of generation of series like POWER RANGERS, REMBRANDT, MORTAL KOMBAT like fighting and structure, also ofcourse TRON, but fact remains the origin story in KRISH is far superior!!
But the salient feauture, is it aint that bad if u dont expect anythin, also the fact that unlike MNIKand its concept of good and bad people we good and bad super hero, and rizwaan khan sequel is here, the movie doesnt cover any important social aspect of life and thus this movie written and directed by 10 year old succeeds.
Most of the audience started leaving late in second half, it got housefull but i got tickets till late, and adult clearly were cringing. Kids seem to be liking, but movie isnt even family movie.
It events a whole new concept b grade movie with superstar, and one can rememver lazily scripted and beautiful looking RAJU CHACHA, there too kids where in danger from and they needed a superhero type, so we had ajay devgn, but both belongs to same category, and qould have been a turkey but movie takes first comers advantage and far bigger superstar doing lazy b grade movie.
Recommended 4/5 stars for effort and if u can take leap of faith for me it was easy as i have seen enuf popcorn B grade movies which isnt a complimebt but after watching b grade storyless flick one can sometimes enjoy it as one time watch.
But overall with sinking effect i might place it at 3.5 stars.

Why absence of jackie chan not noted?
Why again movie set in England and no desi connection?
But being a kiddo movie u forget all this if u can take some leap of faith. I DID n thus liked it.
But at the same time its no match for ROBOT, which was rooted and far more inaginative this is just psp game like. But go and take your kid he shall njoy it.
Recommender strictly one time watch but your kid would love it. Or the kid in you or if you are fan of power rangers etc, it might make u nostalgic.

Answers to your questions;
why shekhar is buried?
He isn’t. He’s cremated. The coffin/box is where the body is placed which moves into the furnace.
Later there is the scene of ash immersion when Prateek takes a handful and puts it into his pocket. In the end when G.One also seems to powder down (for want of better words) Prateek is shown feeling the remains with his hand in a similar way.
Why absence of jackie chan not noted?
Because Ra.One has taken on his form. He’s shown with his mother too, and she too mistakes him for her son.
Why again movie set in England and no desi connection?
I don’t know what you mean by desi connection, but there is the house they come back to.
