oh i forgot–this has THE two blue eyed ‘boys’ of this blog together
aamir and abhishrek!!
the yrf factor is neutrialised for the time being
expect the MOTHER of all buildups
the other point here is about abhishrek–its good to see him exercise caution after BB –but to do nothing else for one year for essentiually a
supporting role where he wont get much credit should be a concern to his fans and apologists
ps–i think with aamir, abhishrek will get the best chance to trump the villian (if there ever was given the genre)
time for abhishrek to ‘avenge’ dhoom 2 esp the the Ash-HR kiss!!
Abhishrek has certain demons to deal with here…lol
Yes Dhoom and demon must be synonymous to Abhishek.
Dhoom 1 was the first hit in his already long career – but John got more out of it since the movie made him an overnight youth star for his style quotient. No ramp model could have asked for a better outcome in the second year of his career.
Dhoom 2 was of course the downfall of Abhishek’s promise with which the media went a bit overboard in 2005. Hrithik turned him into an irrelevant side actor while making merry with Ash. The ‘irrevelance’ became more prominent as the movie went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters and not another hit like the first one.
Worse of it all, 8 years after Dhoom 1 – we see John still hogging limelight in Race 2 and also has an interesting release in Shootout at Wadala next year. Whereas Abhishek is reduced to doing one movie a year due to lack of offers – and getting only supporting roles!
Even as producers, John has gone way ahead. While Abhishek managed to ride on his ‘Paa’ – John produced one of the best movies this year which was also a Superhit!
on the two ‘blue-eyed boys’ of this blog–aamir and abhishrek —cant resist adding…
The only and true blue eyed boy of satyam is abhishrek!
aamir is more of a front/ a trojan to deal /cope with some others who unfortunately abhishrek could never stand upto
Don’t think YRF would over publicize this, I would be surprised if they did. The promotion would be like any other film of theirs with all the first look posters, teaser and theatrical trailer etc.
This is just to announce a release date as there has been a lot of confusion regarding it.
‘Dhoom 3′ might me the last of the Dhoom franchise courtesy Aamir Khan.
As per speculations, Aamir who dislikes to be replaced especially in sequels, as he believes that his character should be immortalized and not replicated, has allegedly entered into a contract with the producers of the film.
The contract mentions that after ‘Dhoom 3′ there shall not be any further franchise of the most talked speedster film.
Taking the speculation ahead, if the producers wish to go ahead with the franchise then Aamir shall be not replaced and would continue as one of the leading star cast like the constant characters of the film, Abhishek Bachchan as Jay Dixit and Uday Chopra as Ali mechanic.
“If this happens, there is no scope for the franchise to grow since Dhoom is known for its adventurous stories with the negative characters playing the surprise element,” adds a film critic who wished not to named.
Meanwhile, YRF spokesperson stated the story as baseless “There is absolutely no truth in any part of this query,” spokesperson concluded.

YRF could have planned this bizzare way of logo-intro in 6 parts:
D
H
O
O
M
3
ha! what a terrible way to tell people abt a film which would not need a day’s publicity in reality.
