Akshay Kumar in Karan Johar production

A while ago we had informed you how Akshay Kumar had agreed to star in a Karan Johar production to be directed by Punit Malhotra. Now it seems that the film will be titled Gutka.

Reportedly, the title Gutka wasn’t readily available as it belonged to filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. However, when KJo asked Madhur if he could part ways with the title, Madhur didn’t hesitate and agreed. The film will be co-produced by Akshay’s Hari Om Productions and KJo’s Dharma Productions. It will go on floors after Punit finishes shooting of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
