Akshay Kumar, Nargis in Shaukeen remake

Shaukeen, the 1980 Basu Chatterjee comic film about three old men lusting after a girl next-door, is all set to be remade by Rumi Jaffery. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar has been roped in to play the character of Mithun Chakraborty. While the female lead originally played by Rati Agnihotri will be essayed by Nargis Fakhri.
Though in the original, Mithun’s part was a small role, the remake will apparently change the part to fit in Akshay. Further reports suggest that Akshay has not charged his usual fee for this film as it is not a full length role, but he will have a stake in the film.
While on the other hand, as reported earlier by Bollywood Hungama, the three older actor’s roles have gone to Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Paresh Rawal.

Not sure bout the film though –& what will akshay do here?

Umm wow Ana/u–with that clairvoyance who needs snail/email etc lol. Mentioned ‘secretary’ the other day-was sent a PDF link of 50shadesGrey. Told her I don’t read esp girly stuff–but after reading bits–it’s crap & not even literature but can now ‘make out’ why….

why blame the hi-fi? as long as there is audience dying to see nargis fakhri in shaukeen (a film they probably know nothing about) remake, this will go on. better to just steer clear of hindi films now
