Queen Second Week Similar To First Week
Friday 21 March 2014 11.00 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Queen had an excellent second week which matched the first week figures of around 18.50 crore nett. The final figures could even be higher than the first week.
The second week collections were not only excellent but the trending was excellent as only Wednesday and Thursday were lower than 2 crore nett. The two week collections of the films are around 37 crore nett plus and the film should reach 50 crore nett
The film will have tougher competition this week in the form of Rahini MMS 2 and the T20 World Cup starting but the film is established now and has maintained its screenings well in the third week so a 50 crore nett total should not be too difficult.
Bewakoofiyaan Has Poor First Week
Friday 21 March 2014 10.30 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Bewakoofiyaan grossed a poor 12.75 crore nett in week one. The collections were poor all over. The film had a mediocre weekend but Monday was okay due to the holiday for Holi.
The film was affected by Queen which behaved like a new release so although Bewakoofiyaan was the only major solo release it did not get that advantage as Queen was so strong. The collections of Queen in week two were almost 50% better than what Bewakoofiyaan collected in week one.
The film is running on limited shows in week two with multiplexes having one or two screenings which means that the film will not add much business after the first week.
Ragini MMS 2 Opens Fairly Well
Friday 21 March 2014 13.00 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Ragini MMS 2 took a decent start of around 40% on average. The collections were good to decent in Mumbai and Delhi/UP circuits while mass circuits had good opening numbers. These type of films always have a chance at certain single screens across the country but Ragini MMS 2 has managed a reasonably good opening at multiplexes.
The opening morning figures are better than Hasee Toh Phasee, Highway, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Queen and Bewakoofiyan.
The first day should come out better than all these films with the India v Pakistan cricket match in the evening the only obstacle. Shaadi Ke Side Effects also had a India v Pakistan cricket match on its first day and Ragini MMS is from the same production house as that film.
The other releases Ankhon Dekhi, Lakshmi and Gang Of Ghosts all took very dull openings with Gang of Ghosts being the best of the three.
On Thursday, the actor’s spokesperson clarified, “We would like to
clarify on behalf of our client, Mr Aamir Khan, that he denies all
allegations regarding him putting any pressure on his society to go in
for redevelopment. The fact of the matter is that Mr. Khan left the
building more than a year ago, after an incident of a slab of concrete
falling on the head of one of the members, resulting in the member
being hospitalised.
“Thereafter, over the months, in his absence, the society had several
meetings and discussions, regarding redevelopment. The general body
eventually passed a resolution with 80% majority members voting in
favour of redevelopment. Thereafter, society made a request in writing
to Mr. Khan to make an offer. Mr. Khan gave the matter due thought and
made an offer. In his offer letter, he also suggested to the society
to invite other offers to ensure best value for the society and it’s
members.
Queen Continues Great Run On Its Third Friday
Saturday 22 March 2014 10.30 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Queen grossed around 1.25 crore nett on the first day of its third week which is excellent. The film had competition of new release which opened very well in the form of Ragini MMS 2 and a big cricket match but still showed a small drop of around 30-35% from the previous day.
The film will show a big jump on Saturday which has been the trend over the first weeks and here the reports of Ragini MMS 2 are not too encouraging. If the reports of that film reflect in collections then Queen will get the advantage.
The weekend of Queen should come in the 6-7 crore nett range and it is not out of the question that it manages to cross 10 crore nett for the third week.
Ragini MMS 2 Has Very Good First Day
Saturday 22 March 2014 10.30 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Ragini MMS 2 had a very strong first day as it collected around 8.25 crore nett as per early estimates. The film had good to very good collections in all circuits with single screen dominated circuits outperforming .
Basically sex and horror works in many markets but underperforms in the North and here there was the chartbuster Baby Doll to counteract that and get North on board too. The film probably lost around 10% business due to the cricket match..
But it has to be noted that the best collections at many places were in the early shows so it remains to be seen where it goes in the next few days. The film is a success due to the first day and will pull through even if there is a big crash but it remains to be seen if it can sustain and emerge a major winner.
Shame on audiences that give this kind of film 8.25 crore first day!
Am glad for Queen- it has shown legs and is a sterling example of how a well liked movie trends.
Ragini MMS 2 Drops On Second Day
Sunday 23 March 2014 11.00 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Ragini MMS 2 dropped on its second day as it collected around 7-7.25 crore nett taking its two day total to around 15.25 crore nett. The drop is around 10-15% on day two but the first day was affected by India v Pakistan cricket match in the evening so the in real terms the drop is more.
Still despite the drop the collections the 15 crore nett plus figure is a good two day number for the film but it will be hit again on Sunday as India feature in another cricket match in the evening.
The film is doing better in single screens but the match will hit the last show badly at single screens so its likely that Sunday again will either be in Friday or Saturday range.
The Wolf of Wall Street
Martin Scorcese /Leonardo dicaprio
This cynical take on financial depravity besides being a worship of unbridled masculinity works as a black-comedy. The strength and weakness of this provocative unashamed take can be described by one word ‘excess’. In a late-career surge of sorts which takes the viewer on a hedonistic ride, Martin Scorcese comes up with a major piece of work that makes stuff like Hugo look like a side-project. He treats the audience as mature adults (justifying the 18+ rating) letting their morality make up for the central characters’ lack of it. Scorcese walks the tightrope between glamourising without endorsing the debaucheries at display. There shall be criticism about the hollowness, and glamorisation of sex, drugs & greed.
Virile, visceral, indulgent are the key words in this story charting the rise of Belfort (DiCaprio) from a struggling stock dealer to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life and his eventual downfall due to fraud, corruption and drug abuse. The support cast of Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey and Jean Dujardin is uniformly competent. Though I was pretty impressed with McConaugheys cameo here and personally feel that’s the best work he’s ever done in his life! More than the actual ‘acting’, it’s the body language and the subtle touches he added that were ace. Not to mention Margot Robbie who looked gorgeous (even with clothes).
But the star of the show was Dicaprio who has completed a trilogy of sorts with this embodiment of anti-hero-ism– Django unchained, The Great Gatsby and now the Wolf! And what a journey from the cute naive boy in titanic Cheers. And he needs no ‘Oscar’ to endorse that!
The career renaissance of Matthew Mconnaughey gets a shot in the arm this year. Though I’ve been cynical about these ‘me-too’ attempts by contemporaries like Ben Affleck, Brad Cooper, even C Bale, with this ‘cameo’ Mat McConnaughey finally wins my respect as well and his ‘laid back alpha male persona’ finally grows up!
He’s simply electric & mesmerising and ‘Mark Hanna’ enters film folklore…
Gets my stamp (finally!)
Finally, wasn’t about to comment wolf (for some reasons!). But recently saw /heard this track somewhere which promoted me to! Perhaps the BEST HIP HOP Bollywood has seen (non-rahman!). The much maligned and hated Honey Singh shows his undeniable talent, shows true panache and some good dance moves. Also Sunny Leone shows she can look (more) alluring with clothes on (imo).
IF there was an ITEM SONG (Bollywood style); going with the ‘theme’; for ‘wolf’ this will be it…think this should do well.
Main rahoon saari raat in the bar

Thanks to Vidya balan this genre is back..another bong directing it. I love the desi Sherlock without shirt and singing around trees while throwing interesting one liners.
‘Ragini MMS-2’ vanquishes opponents, storms the BO!
By Taran Adarsh, March 24, 2014 – 11:27 IST
The genre ‘Horrex’ — horror and sex — is known to attract cinegoers by dozens. Now add Sunny Leone [one of the most discussed names within and outside the film fraternity], besides a winning soundtrack, and you’re assured of a terrific start at the ticket window. RAGINI MMS-2 has achieved what most Hindi films don’t — serpentine queues at cineplexes, House Full boards outside theatres and a solid weekend total. This, despite cricket matches making a dent in its biz over the weekend.
I’d like to give credit to the above-mentioned factors of course, but I’d also like to underline the smart and clever marketing strategy adopted by Ekta Kapoor and her passionate team. All these factors combined together have made RAGINI MMS-2 a brand that would only strengthen in times to come.
Unfortunately, LAKSHMI and ANKHON DEKHI, which lack face-value but were riding on glowing reviews, got sidelined due to RAGINI MMS-2 and QUEEN wave. These two films have ample merits to grow at the ticket counters [the growth was minimal], but RAGINI MMS-2 and QUEEN relegated the new releases to the background.
GANG OF GHOSTS could not lure audiences in hordes either. The comedy had an unenthusiastic start and witnessed limited growth over the weekend. The film has a great premise [it’s a remake of a much-loved and acclaimed Bengali film], but like I pointed out in the review, much is lost in translation. Also, the pre-release buzz was missing and since word of mouth plays an integral part in today’s times, the rejection was imminent.
Ragini MMS 2 Has Good Weekend
Monday 24 March 2014 11.00 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Ragini MMS 2 had a good first weekend of around 23.25 crore nett. The film had to contend with the cricket matches over the three days which probably hit the film for around 10% business in the three days.
The film did very well at single screens but city multiplexes saw limited appreciation as they did not have a good trend over the weekend. A similar film Jism 2 released in 2012 grossed 21 crore nett over its first weekend including paid previews.
That film did not trend too well and ended up with around 35 crore nett business and it could be a similar story with Ragini MMS 2 though a higher starting point should ensure the business of that film is beaten. The weekend has ensure the film is a success and the hope for the weekdays for Ragini MMS 2 will be single screens as they have done very well all over over the weekend and if they sustain then the film could get a good two week run and emerge a hit.
***RAGINI MMS-2 has achieved what most Hindi films don’t — serpentine queues at cineplexes, House Full boards outside theatres and a solid weekend total. This, despite cricket matches making a dent in its biz over the weekend.***
Now this, this is star power. There is NOTHING except the porn-quotient of Sunny Leone in this movie. On her OWN, she literally made the horny men and maybe some women ‘come’ into the theater and ‘in’ them. Unlike Kangana’s (NO WAY am I putting down her performance) portrayal which did NOT fetch the INITIAL foot-steps into the movie halls. [It was only LATER, with WOM, that people started going into the theaters and discovered a fine performance WITH, and ably supported WITH, a comparatively better written product.]
And now for all the great ‘hope’ that was being bandied about that the audience had suddenly become ‘wiser’ because a ‘quality’ product like QUEEN turned a big hit– [and a David versus Goliath scene was being created just because Gulab Gang had ‘stars’ (as though Mads and Juhi are big box-office magnets at 45+ in this age-obsesssed industry LOL)]– and hence can be considered an indicator of audience’s maturity; everything’s gone for a toss with the coming of Leone!!
Last year, GRAND MASTI made 100 crores; this year a porn-star’s movie with clothes being worn accidentally makes more moolah than DEDH ISHQIYA, HIGHWAY and even GG. While these 3 struggled to make even 12-13 crores in the weekend, RAGINI without dropping a sweat but everything else, makes at least 10 crores more in 3 days with an Indo-Pak match for competition!
I will be the LEAST surprised if Sunny Leone replaces Sonam as the demure bahu in one of Barjatya’s films..
As they say, ‘Yeh Public Hai Yeh Sab Jaanti Hai’ should not be taken at face-value..
Yes I wrote that Di. And as usual, the argument is being twisted on its head since I wrote PURELY about the audience taste currently in Hi-fi and where they are willing to spend money; this is now changed into a BOGUS tale on morality and of trying to take a high moral ground.
My whole POINT was ONLY about audience taste and its ‘willingness’ to spend money when and where..
Anyway I will simply be wasting web-space here if I go on counter-arguing. But sometimes one does get rattled when something totally wrong and dishonest is attributed to someone.
I get it AJ. I went to a classic Hindustani concert in India; a kathak dance performance; a handicraft exhibition where artists from ALL over India brought art (from exquisite madhubani to mindblowing work on ‘tad-patra’ and on and on). The artists were poor-starving even; some spoke only bangla or native languages where as so much money is wasted in India in building fancy airports, advertising, making mindless movies with crores of budget yada yada. So what should the solution be? Maybe buying art from these artists should be made mandatory (look at Suzzanne and SRK wife launching some million dollar enterprise where they are going to decorate some 12 villas . Watching art cinema should be mandatory for high school students and make them do a write up on it as home work assignment.
There should be some support from janta for real art and maybe art houses like suzzane roshan should use real art from these artists while making their millions!
C’mon Di. There are 1.3 BILLION Indians. More than enough to have varied tastes, styles, desires, etc. More than enough to make sure that starving artistes get their due. IF and only IF, the wretched govt strictly enforces labor and copyright laws, will these poor native artistes get their worthy dues
I would like to cheer for the success of these two women-centric films–after the tepid reception to ‘mature’ beauties in gulab gang.
I haven’t seen any of these films (and unlikely to see them)
But there was something fresh & effervescent in kanganas turn which finds an echo in the various gen x indian females (esp those travelling to Europe etc)
Also it’s good that queen has shown ‘trending’ isn’t an aamir exclusive! Note how there’s no noise about ‘trending’ now (esp after the dhoom3 fiasco)
Am particularly pleased at Sunny Leones success–she has made me ‘proud’.
“Shame on the audience who has given 8.5 crores opening day to such films”
Now this is the typical response from usual suspects–the same guys who were caught red handed watching murder 1& 2 multiple times!
And WHO are those who are the ‘consumers’ of ‘such films’?
WHO has made sunny what she was ?
And why the same people become ‘holier than thou’ (after secretly watching such stuff!)
Inspite of all these prejudices and mental mindset, sunny has ventured into new territory (no pun intended) and succeeded
3 cheers for queen
& for sunny!!
After the chart buster hip hop hit ‘4 bottle vodka’–found another good tune
Also SRK’s Fan will be releasing on Independence Day weekend 2015 according to Taran Adarsh. Diwali is Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and I think Raees then should come on Christmas. Shuddhi is scheduled to release on Christmas but it will have Ranveer Singh and he isn’t big enough to get a solo holiday release (especially if Ranbir can’t get one still). These days release dates are announced 2-3 years before the movie even stars filming!
Riding high on the success of Queen, Kangana Ranaut has successfully launched herself as a performer. The actress took Bollywood by storm with her acting prowess a number of times in past and now, for her next, Kangana is ready with an even more challenging role.
Buzz is that the actress will be playing a 35-year-old mother of a 14 year-old paralytic girl in her next. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, who had last directed Kahaani starring Vidya Balan.
According to insiders, the movie has been titled as Durga Rani Singh, however, the makers haven’t confirmed the title so far.
Apparently, this role was earlier chalked out with Vidya Balan in mind. However, Sujoy approached Kangana for the role after Vidya backed out of this project.
Kangana confirmed the news to a popular daily and spoke about the kind of research that she will have to go through to play a mother and also the use of prosthetics for ageing.
With another woman centric drama in her kitty, Kangana is on a roll and is expected to cook up an equally interesting ‘Kahaani’ with this one.
Snowpiercer is terrific. The best film I have seen this year till now. Don’t think it will be released in India, but this definitely warrants a big-screen viewing. It’s the kind of film which Elysium wanted to be- socio-political allegory blended with a sci-fi actioner. Bong Joon-ho made this on a budget which is almost one-fifth of most Hollywood blockbuster films. Apart from the CGI shots of snow which look somewhat fake, the production design is as good as its gets. This film should be a model for every film industry as far as tent-pole filmmaking goes.
Found Pieta very disturbing. Reminded me of Von Trier’s Antichrist. I have only seen two other Kim Ki-duk films- “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring…” and “3-Iron”. I like the other 2 far more than Pieta.
Also saw Weerasethakul’s “Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall his Past Lives”, which I found to be a masterpiece. Really interested in checking out other stuff directed by this guy.
GOVARDHAN (MATHURA): “Go back to the movies, Basanti! You are not meant for politics,” veteran actress Hema Mailini, BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Mathura, was told by her own party workers as she arrived here on the first day of her campaign.
The actress had to face the wrath of party workers for arriving late and making sudden changes in plan. She was seen apologizing, and promising to be punctual the next time.
There were party workers who instructed her to avoid star tantrums, and set about winning the hearts of local people. Many party workers openly rejected her candidature from Mathura, saying she did not belong among common people, and would never understand them.
Initially upbeat after receiving a warm welcome, Hema Malini was later seen somewhat apologetic for attempting to cover more than two dozen villages on the very first day of her campaign.
Tired of the large numbers of people she was expected to meet and greet, the actress first saw protests at Palson village, as she refused to emerge from her car. “Why did you come here at all, if only to sit in your car?” people shouted.

Q. Is Ranveer Singh a threat to Ranbir Kapoor now as his last two films have done well?
Ans. He is a big threat as is featuring in better projects while Ranbir Kapoor has films on the floors that are unlikely to give the numbers his star status deserves as they don’t have that universal appeal. Its a case of better choices by Ranveer Singh which means he is catching up while a year ago it looked like a one horse race.
M. Sen
I’ve been saying this for a while, Ranveer is catching up while Ranbir isn’t working up to his potential in terms of commercial movies (this means YJHD type multiplex movies). In terms of the single screens, Ranveer is #1 or will be #1 very soon.
Ranbir has the better movies for sure. He is balancing a Bombay Velvet or a Roy with Imtiaz’s next and Ayan Mukherjee’s next. Thats as good a line-up one can have…
Since I remain ever the polemicist in this sense I will only qualify your last statement this way — ‘that’s as good a multiplex lineup as one can have’. Which might be the smart thing to do in a box office sense but that’s another discussion.
No even otherwise it is a good mix of the serious critic pleasing movie of a Kashyap (a major departure for him as he is a kick boxer in this) with the audience friendly stuff of Ayan and an Imtiaz thrown in between who in a sense has a foot planted in both worlds (critics and audience pleasing). The only thing he doesnt have is a Hirani movie and I heard even he is planning something with him…
yes but nothing you’ve said contradicts my point that it is a multiplex-pleasing mix. For instance Kashyap pleases the multiplexes! And when you say ‘critic-pleasing’ this is the same group. The reason I insist on this point is that there is a large gap in Bollywood (this name standing for the multiplex audience, the critics and of course the filmmakers who feed both) unlike in Hollywood between films that are worthwhile in any sense and those that feed multiplex instincts. And this gap exists because films that do not feed the ideological concerns of the multiplex orientation are neither supported by the audience nor celebrated by critics. So this is a standard very different from a more purely aesthetic one where one might hate certain films ideologically but still regard them as considerable achievements.
Imtiaz Ali from a commercial standpoint is not viable, especially if he tries to make another Highway/Rockstar type movie over a LAK/JWM. Also at this moment Ranveer has Shuddhi with a solo Xmas release date while Ranbir has no holiday releases and Kill Dil sounds nothing less of a 100 crore movie. Also isn’t Ayan’s movie supposed to be a superhero movie? LOL at that. The multiplex audience won’t lap up Ranbir in a superhero movie and I have doubts on Ayan Mukherjee’s ability to direct one. He has no single screen audience to fall back on either as evident by Besharam and none of his future movies will do this either. If Ayan’s next is another YJHD type movie then it is a different story.
Some1 sent me this Funny version-of a track I like
No box office updates ? Hmmm-There’s always a ‘reason’ when there’s ‘silence’ or too many updates lol
#RaginiMMS2 passes the Monday test. Records a spectacular ₹ 4.60 cr nett. Total: ₹ 29.1 cr nett. India biz.
Now even if it drops, predict and hope that both Ragini and queen breach the 50 cr(wh)ore landmark each making a collective booty of 100 cr(wh)ores…
Well done and gr8 trending by queen–something that d3 & talaash couldn’t achieve…
@ Ann-girl, that wasn’t for u, so relax…
@ sanju -lol @ hema malinis election plight -she suffered something like “lene ke dene” –(pun also intended)..lol
Ps:
Ranveer Singh HAS something that can’t be ‘acquired’ or ‘inherited’-star appeal (although he needs to tone down his exuberance)
Saw a mention of Von Trier–was looking out for his ‘nymphomaniac’ volumes 1 & 2 (sounds a biopic eh…)
I still haven’t found this film anywhere, but here is possibly the only write-up existing on Mahesh Bhatt’s criminally underrated “Janam”-
I’ve wanted to revisit this for a long time myself but seems to be very hard to come by in any sense. I do remember it rather well though. It is one of Mahesh Bhatt’s best works I think. At least in a more ‘modest’ sense.
Satyam: True. It also has my favourite Amit Kumar songs ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doAqXs1LLTI . Bhatt shot this song-video very well. And it strikes me that irrespective of the actual quality of Gaurav’s films, almost all of them had outright splendid music. Even stuff like Star).
Also not sure if you have seen this, but I happened to get my hands on a print of Khwaja Ahmed Abbas’ Mithun and Smita starrer “The Naxalites”. I don’t think an official dvd or vcd of the film exists anywhere (the print I have is a VHS one. The transfer is just about watchable, but beggars can’t really be choosers!). But this is a very powerful film, far better than Jha’s “Chakravyuh”.
Mahesh Bhatt is rather good when he is tackling themes of illegitimacy – Whether it is an illegitimate son (liked Najayaz too quite a bit) or illegitimate relationship (Zakhm, Arth etc)
One if the reasons Zakhm always seemed poor to me (though not a bad film otherwise) was precisely because Bhatt rehashed themes here that he had used with far better justification in the 80s including in Janam.
When the news on DD was deferred due to a Mahesh Bhatt film
Press Trust of India | 12-Jan-2014 12:25 PM
“New Delhi: Remember an incident in the 1980s when the news on Doordarshan was deferred by a few minutes so that a film that was telecast was over?
Or do you know that the song ‘Sham-e-gham ki kasam’ from ‘Footpath’ was put together from slices of different recordings by composer Khayyam, when such practices were frowned upon in the early 1950s?
These and several other titbits related to Hindi films find mention in a new book titled ’40 Retakes: Bollywood Classics You May Have Missed’ by Avijit Ghosh.
According to the author, the book, published by Tranquebar, is an attempt to revisit a ‘bunch of special films that either did not get their due or have been largely forgotten”….
“Recalling the Doordarshan incident involving his film, director Bhatt says, “For the first time in popular memory the news was delayed by 14 minutes till the film was over.”
‘Janam’, a 16-mm telefilm shot on a shoestring budget with Kumar Gaurav and debutante Shernaz Patel in the lead, was just an hour and 45 minutes long, but the ‘advertisements in between stretched it past the sacrosanct newshour in the
pre-satellite era. Then the unthinkable happened: rather than stop the movie, the news was deferred’.
But ‘Janam’ didn’t just create a furore; it also made an impact. The story of an ‘illegitimate’ son trying to be acknowledged by his father had something raw and real.
“I was going through it. It was the unfolding of my life. I wrote it as I lived it,” says Bhatt.
According to the author, ‘Janam’ is an autobiographical movie told from the guts.
How Bhatt spotted Shernaz is also an interesting story. He recalls, “I had gone to a party with Soni Razdan (now wife). We ran into Simi Garewal there. She took us home. I kept drinking there till 3 a.m. Some time that night she showed me some video footage. And despite the drunken haze, I remembered that a girl was brilliant in the video. She was Shernaz Patel. What Bhatt saw was actually an episode from Garewal’s own television show “It’s a Woman’s World'”…
” Sanjana: Agni Natshathiram by Mani also tackles this problem of illegitimacy in a more dramatic way.” No. It does not TACKLE THE PROBLEM. It is just another melodrama, a fairly enjoyable one at that, featuring two step brothers, one of them illegitimate.

Queen is showing no signs of slowing down as its collections on third Monday were just a little lower than Friday. The film collected a little over 1 crore nett on its third Monday
The film has grossed around 47 crore nett so far and will be around 50 crore nett by the end of its third week. It seems like the film still has steam left and could finish with a total of 60 crore nett. A similar film Kahaani had grossed a little under 58 crore nett and Queen is on course to surpass that figure.
The film is collecting better than Ragini MMS 2 at many multiplexes despite being in its third week. Queen could see a weekday collections in the same range range over the four days as that has been its trend over the first two weeks.
Ragini MMS 2 Has Good Hold On Monday
Tuesday 25 March 2014 11.00 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Ragini MMS 2 had a good hold on Monday as it collected around 4.25 crore nett which is a less than 50% drop from Friday. The weekend trending was not too good and Monday was is much better than its weekend trending. The cricket matches over the weekend probably meant the weekend business was up and down..
The film has now grossed around 27.50 crore nett in four days and the week should go over to 36 crore nett which will be more than the business of Jism 2 released in 2012.
The mass circuits held up strongly with some circuits showing just 40% drop from Friday. The business of Ragini MMS over the first four days has been as follows.
Ragini MMS 2 Tuesday Business

Ragini MMS did well on Tuesday as it collected around 3.75 crore nett taking the business to around 31.25 crore nett. The fall was minimal from Monday and the film is holding up pretty well though faces competition from three releases on Friday.
The business of Ragini MMS over the first four days has been as follows.
The song is magical. And Mohanlal sang really well. And SRK looked dapper as usual. Missed Kajol. This is why I feel Jatin Lalit is miles ahead when it is a matter of simple melody among today’s music directors.
I randomly found this on youtube but it is very interesting-it seems like it’s from the early 2000s, all our favorite stars-HR, SRK, the Bachchans, Preity Zinta, Farhan Akhtar, Rishi Kapoor are at some party and for once it seems like they are just being themselves, not acting like they do at Award functions and what not.

Aamir Khan clarifies
In his offer letter, he also suggested to the society
to invite other offers to ensure best value for the society and it’s
members.
“Mr. Khan strongly denies any allegations of pressure tactics or
misconduct on his part, and takes strong exception to attempts being
made to defame him.”

Queen Continues Great Run On Its Third Friday
Saturday 22 March 2014 10.30 IST

Daaru piyun lagaatar
Ek aadhi sab pee lete hain
Main to piyun botal chaar

KUDOS 2 Queen & Ragini

Some more stuff on Janam-
When the news on DD was deferred due to a Mahesh Bhatt film

Tuesday 25 March 2014 12.30 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
