Hope the teaser/ promo is better because this seems like a poor first look esp keeping shahid kapoor’s failed attempts at this genre.
Vikas Bahl ( queen fame ) is a rooted director so looking forward to a decent outing.
Stubble look doesnt gel well in romcom, dont know why they allow it. Best example is looks of jr b in JBJ, otherwise such an enjoyable movie jbj is, i can still watch it any day.
Agreed Saif is cooler in romcoms. But all the flops of Sahid you mentioned were rank bad films. You cant judge him by those. He was good both in JWM and Vivah.

‘failed attempt at this genre’? What is the genre – romcom? He was wonderful in Jab We Met..and suceeded specatcularly in it.

I did say JWM was Imtiaz’s movie and from actors point of view it was kareena’s flick!
Shahid’s career is full of rom-com flops otherwise:
Teri Meri Kahani,
Kismat Konnection,
Dil Maage more,
Chance Pe Dance,
Milenge Milenge,
Mausam.
Flops. Bad Movies. Bad Script Sense.

Shahid kapoor is looking ugly here. Agreed on shahid is poor in romcom. I think intense roles suit him more and he gets appreciation aswell.

Saif Ali Khan was comparatively quite cool and successful in this genre – Hum Tum, Cocktail, Love Aaj Kal, Salaam Namaste

I didn’t include vivaah, as I felt it cant be included in rom com category.
That’s the interesting thing about shahid, his script choices are poor.
He was good in JWM and vivaah but not irreplaceable imo.
