  13. What a brilliantly cut trailer of the new Bond movie! That shot of him riding a bike over the incline was a sight for the sore eyes!! Imagine seeing it in the theater — for which it was/is originally made!

Also love the fact that with Craig in the lead, women are more than kicking ass, starting from Vesper Lynd…although, ‘Quantum of Solace’ was a disappointment over-all.

A trailer for Adam Sandler’s Netflix horror-comedy Hubie Halloween is out. The film is directed by Steven Brill and penned by Sandler and Tim Herlihy.

The story is about Hubie Dubois (Sandler) a good-natured but weird man who just loves Halloween celebrations and does his best to make sure the people of Salem stay safe on Halloween night. For his fellow residents, though, he is a good-for-nothing loser and pain for the police department with his frivolous complaints.

However, when things go bad in reality, and people begin to disappear, and it turns out monsters are indeed real, it falls upon good old Hubie to solve the mystery, for the police will not listen.

  15. Madhavan is also quite upbeat about Nishabdham finally getting a release worldwide.

“I enjoy watching and being a part of thriller films. Nishabdham is definitely one of the most intriguing movies that I have been associated with. Set in the US and shot extensively in Seattle and other parts of the US, the story is relatable to global audiences,” said Madhavan.

Besides Madhavan and Anushka Shetty, Nishabdham also stars Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivas Avasarala. Hollywood actor Michael Madsen of Reservoir Dogs fame has also played a key role in the film.

Nishabdham, which stars Anushka Shetty and R Madhavan in the lead roles, has joined the list of films that have taken the OTT route as the fate of movie theatres remains uncertain. The movie was initially set to release in January. Later, it was postponed to April, and the outbreak of the pandemic made a theatrical release impossible.

Nishabdham will now debut on Amazon Prime Video on October 2. It will be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

“We are excited to bring to the audience the eagerly awaited thriller Nishabdham in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video,” said, director Hemanth Madhukar.

        • Lol. I was reading your comment and the book was on my desk..so just grabbed and took a pic and posted on here. Why so serious??

        • Master, if you had just posted an amazon link or the pic of the book, I wouldn’t be wondering! I just didn’t understand the juxtaposition — and said it right at the beginning — to my comment that’s all!! So I asked. Not serious at all but seriously wanted to understand!!

Do let me know what you think of the book. It is brisk for sure, but is highly over-rated IMO.

Tom and Jerry was magical and superbly imaginative only under the supervision of Hanna Barbara. They should’ve stopped producing the cartoons after the 120 off shorts that they did. These cartoons just got worse when directed by Chuck Jones, Gene Deitch, and others. No point in having any such film when they lack the vision and crazy mind of those two geniuses

  24. Actor Frank Grillo has revealed that in the famous elevator fighting scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, he and Captain America actor Chris Evans exchanged some real blows. “Yeah we did a lot of training and then on the day, I realised it was necessary for us to hit each other for real because it was so tight,” he told Express.co.uk. “When we left that elevator we didn’t leave anything in the elevator I’ll tell you that much. We were black and blue and sore. And, you know, we beat each other up!” the actor who played Brock Rumlow in the MCU said.

The elevator scene had Captain America being surrounded by rogue S.H.I.E.L.D personnel, including Grillo’s character, in an elevator. The personnel were secretly working for Hydra and Cap was the only impediment in the way of their goal of world domination.

The epic story, spanning thousands of years, features a group of immortal beings forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy – The Deviants.
The teaser gives us glimpses of their characters, their costumes and sets the bread crumb trail of the events set to unfold. Besides the action, the teaser hints at a bit of romance too between Richard Madden’s all-powerful Ikaris and Gemma Chan’s Sersi.
With Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo channelling his Bollywood groove, the clip offers many references to Indian culture and traditions.
The cast also features Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.
We also get our first look at Kit Harington who will be seen playing the character, Dane Whitman.
The trailer also hints at a possible ‘New Avengers’ plot with Sprite saying, “So now that Captain Rogers and Iron Man are both gone, who do you think is going to lead the Avengers?”
“I could lead them,” says Ikaris that leads to the Eternals cracking up.
‘Eternals’ is scheduled for release on November 5.

  39. @Aman what exactly did you see Mrs. Jonas do special here except wear nerdy glasses for a split-second glasses? Unless I am missing something like she’s executive-producing the film or whatever…

Will have to ask the converted brothers on why they picked her …

A good trailer legacy-wise; but nothing special at all…looks like a bread-crumb parasiting on to the legacy…MATRIX 3 was bad as hell..Only 1 and 2 survive the test of time per my limited understanding…

And it is amazing how Jefferson Airplane’s lyrics fit — sexual innuendoes intact regarding a small or a bigger pill or a mother’s given pill — scenes in different takes; whether it is the trailer here or the end-crawls of Fincher’s THE GAME or the HBO French series LETITIA….

How sharply and smartly he delivers his dialogues and employs that voice to his service! Great! Can’t wait to see this in the theater…Hopefully this is just not OTT…
