Bhoot Police Movie Review: There’s a solid film in there, somewhere, but it’s ruined by bad acting!

In one of the film’s comic moments, a joke is cracked on nepotism and how it benefits the unworthy. All I can say is, full marks for self-awareness, but in doing so, the joke’s on the audience and it’s certainly not funny!

  2. Finished watching. Both have acted well as goofy tantrics, especially saif. It was fun and horror combined. Different from Stree. That little girl is cute. One of talented Amit Mistry’s last film?

  3. I will give it 2.5 stars. There is one goofy scene with Javed Jaffrey, Saif and the little girl which is spooky. That extra half star is for that scene.

  4. Thailavi I want to watch it in Hindi, for the sheer curiosity of the a southern-cut is shown in the north market. For the Tamilians, they have Rangan who undersand the in-and-outs of the cultural underpinnings….

Bhoot Police had a lot of potential, but the makers have ended up making a horror-comedy which is not too funny, hardly scary and quite frankly, quite missable.

The only saving grace is Saif Ali Khan who carries the film on his shoulders.

Watch Bhoot Police if you are a Saif fan and don’t mind slapstick comedy.
