I shall hazard a guess based on the resemblance with Hindi letters:
Mara man chonala to…?

The first letter seems more similar to the ‘bh’ in Hindi but I am going for ‘m’ (slight variation) because it seems to make more sense!

Mara man chhogala dhola

Nothing sinister here! I like to put up posters from everywhere in India but it’s not easy finding these online. I chanced upon this one. I’ve not even been able to find good Southern posters let alone anything else. If I had access I would have regular posters from many ‘regional’ industries.

That was my weird Gujju sense of humour. I thought they stopped making Gujju movie anymore and can’t recall when/which was the last one I’ve seen or perhaps haven’t seen any…
This poster tells me to stay away from it miles and miles.

Pradip is bang on…..irony is that Gujju theater plays are of topmost quality and have inspired/are inspiring many films in Hindi….whereas Gujju cinema still is in 18th century….most of the youth and urban public will stay miles away from this film just like Pradip….that is for sure….but in villages, it will work wonder….that’s also for sure 🙂

but recently i read that ADLABS is venturing in Gujju cinema production….so we can expect some contemparory subjects in gujju cinema….
…..as far as creativity is concerned….i personally find southern cinema better than any regional or bollywood stuff….

OK GUYS i GOT it (or seem to have 🙂 )
courtesy – GALA GUJARATI DICTIONARY
mara- my (basic word)
man – heart (basic word)
chogalla – (having tassels (wat does that mean) in cap or turban, or FOPPISH { my sources say it refers to feather on the head like Lord krishna had})
dholla- (husband)
Now as i understand – MY HEART WANTS TO HAVE FEATHER CAPPED AS MY HUSBAND
OR
MY HEART WANTS TO HAVE FOPPISH GUY AS HUSBAND
( i may be wrong but thats the best research i could have done)
(pradip- i think both our interpretations are very near but mine is by reference to dictionary and not an opinion of mine… that means my knowledge of local language very poor )
