Henry…its Ek Baar ‘DHOL’ Bajao Na! This beats Lawrence of A Labia…My favourite memory though is a single screen in Jaipur playing a double-bill of Kamsin Jawani and Khada Ho Jaata Hai (with Rom Rom written in small fonts below!)

Whoa. Down, boys, down.
Too damn funny for words.
But, then one has to salute the creativity at work here.
The mother of all titles would be- Ek baar bhoot bangle ke ander aadamkhor haseena ki kamsin jawani ka dhol bajao na!

The flavor would be lost in translation, but here you go. Loosely translated
Bhoot bangle ke Andar- Inside the haunted house
Ek baar dhole bajoa na- Baby, do it one more time!
Kmasin Jawani- Innocent, untouched youth
Khada Ho Jaata hai-The curse of SRK fans on seeing him
Aadamkhor Haeena- Maneating Ho
I hope you get the drift.

I humbly submit that “Tap that ass one more time” would be truer to the flavor of it… 🙂

What was this the translation for?

That was translation of Del Porto telling Nadal: Kyun, dhol baj gaya na!

Re “Khada Ho Jaata hai-The curse of SRK fans on seeing him”
Ohhhh I see. Just the way Mr Bachchan made sure his fans still experience “Khada Ho Jaata Hai” act with films like Nishabd and Chenni Kum. Didn’t he?

My comment is for moderation? Approve it. I want to see if you have the guts and you are credible enough to allow others to make any offensive comment against fans of Mr Bachchan like the way the guy Rajen has got away with that comment. His comment was against SRK fans, mine is against Bachchan fans.

“like the way the guy Rajen has got away with that comment”
I have a Rajen exception on the blog.. can’t explain it, it’s not rational.. I personally find his humor edgy, perhaps too provocative at times, but something I enjoy greatly. And I know since I have been at the receiving end of it many times. It’s not about SRK even if Rajen saves some special ones for SRK fans! It’s not intended maliciously or anything. I will fully understand anyone who doesn’t consider this response of mine entirely coherent. But the exception will stand.

I saw the exact same poster of “Ek baar bajaao naa?” in Bahadurgarh. It is available at some torrent as well. I do not have either the heart or the lust for it!
