Must confess something at the risk of being attacked- I watched kambakht ishq in the cinema and did not find it all that bad. haha.
Didnt expect a great movie, good time pass. Better than recent david dhawan or sajid khan stuff. Good masala. The stupidest (surprisingly funny) moment being amrita arora being slapped repeatedly. cmon guys, one can enjoy so-called crap once in a while..

BY the way, Hello alexandra. (seems a new member). Found your name interesting (and similar)!
Something unrelated-coming to sajid khan and other over-rated people. Am i the only one who finds tabu and (may i dare to add), shabana azmi over-rated. I have tried to find what the fuss is all about, but didnt find anything worthy of the extreme acolades in both the cases , nore so with tabu. dont get me wrong- both are good actresses and tabu (only) quite good looking as well, but cmon…
Tabu is a god actress but not in the same league as Shabana. What is the fuss about? Have you seen Mandi? Just that one performance can blow away all other actresses that we have. Her stage performance in Tumhari Amrita where she and Farooq Shaikh just sit and read out old letters, hold the audience spellbound. The play has had hundreds of performances all over the world. We are talking of some rare acting talent here. Her only mytch is Naseer..another al-time great. Ankur, Nishant, Shatranj Ke Khilari, Arth, Sparsh, Masoom, Paar, Khandhar, Pestonjee, In Custody, Fire, ..that is some filmography!
this is going to be garbage, might be even worse than sajid khan’s previous effort (or lack there of). at least two faces that we don’t see often, hopefully lara and jiah both get some decent screen time and hvae to do more than look pretty. i’m obviously skipping this one. i’m not watching anymore akshay kumar movies.

in the series of guilty ppleasures-one more addition from my side and hope u come out with some more (without the guilt).
The movie blue-i didnt mind it that much. agree it went haywire and the director was lii-equipped for such an ambitious project but it surely was an a v good effort from all concerned.
Must add here- there is a song by rashid ali in blue called ya khuda…simply outstanding composed by the genius rahman in one of his heavenly spells. great buld up, backgorund and above all, excellently sung by rashid ali. It seems that he has sung only a few rahman songs (JTJN) but boy, have those been gr8 songs…
the critics just killed this movie after a brillinat start at the bo. nowhere a classic but definitely a good effort.
I wonder if satyam can add some of his guilty pleasures and maybe start a new thread on them- will be a good exercise uncovering the hidden “fetishes” behind the stated positions/ loyalties….

“No one better than Eros in overseas” – Sajid Nadiadwala
Sajid Nadiadwala “There’s no one better than Kishore Lulla (Eros) in overseas,” says long time associate Sajid Nadiadwala who has joined hands yet again for his hot-n-happening next release Housefull. “Kishore is one of the finest human beings I have met and a very fair person. There’s an outstanding chemistry between me and Kishore. He’s not merely a businessman but he’s also very sensitive about his films,” Nadiadwala adds.
Sajid-Kishore bonding goes back to successful films like Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Heyy Babyy, Kambakkht Ishq and now Housefull which is carrying excellent reports. “Whenever we’ve worked, we’ve created a buzz. Heyy Babyy grossed Rs. 50 crores and it was the biggest grosser of Akshay’s career then. The first day collection of Kambakkht Ishq was No. 1 as it had Rs 8.5 crores.” Alright, how was your experience of working on Housefull? “Fantastic. Kishore gives a free hand in making the film. He has a brilliant office infrastructure in Mumbai handled by his brother Sunil Lulla. Hope our association works well in Housefull as well and it breaks all records.”
Housefull will be having one of the “biggest, widest releases. It will release in 2000 + screens across the world,” Nadiadwala informs. As for his superhit combo with Eros, Sajid hopes that it will continue to reap rich dividends even for their eagerly anticipated project Anjaana Anjaani starring Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor which is releasing in a few months time.
