Didn’t know this. thought he was more of a ‘natural body’ guy and for instance wasn’t prone to steroid use and so on. Which explains why he doesn’t have those crazy 6 packs or whatever and also why he hasn’t suddenly developed a huge upper torso and so on.
I am not sure how it is quite clear!!! It is possible but certainly dont see any obvious signs of a ‘facelift’. He has maintained himself well and has aged far better any of the Khans/Sunny/Sanjay etc.
yeah I was surprised when SM mentioned it but I can’t really identify these things anyway. Akshay’s face hasn’t changed too much beyond the natural stuff one would expect with age. I’ve never seen him look too different. He certainly doesn’t look like a young guy in any of his films. His face does show signs of age but I couldn’t detect anything odd here. I do know as I mentioned in the earlier comment that he’s one of those old-school guys who stays away from the stuff many others indulge in. Which is why he’s always had a more natural physique as opposed to the pumped-up look everyone else seems to have and which beyond a point does require steroids and the like. So indeed I’d be surprised if he has really worked on his face.
I was talking about the face, not the body. 🙂 Basically some time in January, he was promoting something (maybe Special 26) and was making a lot of public appearances, and looking just as he did in December when he was promoting Khiladi 786. Then there was about a week’s gap, and he suddenly showed up in public again looking about 15 years younger. As I said it was well done, and my comment was not to denigrate him in any way. In contrast, Anushka Sharma suddenly showed up with a new face, and her new mouth has totally ruined her face, IMO. In Bollywood there are more examples of people having ruined what they already have in their eagerness to overegg the pudding, so to speak. Thus I was very pleased that Akshay has done something more subtle, that basically makes him look the way he did in his younger days, basically by getting rid of the slight natural sagging and lines that comes with age. Hence I guessed a face lift.
I personally wish none of these people do any of these things, but the industry at present seems to demand it (not the audience). At least it’s not as bad for men as it is for women.

As much as I am aware, and I can say this with a fair bit of certainty, Akshay Kumar hasn’t had any work done to his face or body… He isn’t into overdoing at the gym either, and is completely anti-steroids. As Satyam mentions, he is very old school in this regard. He just follows a strict disciplined regimen: wakes up at 0430, joggs and does yoga and martial arts for about 90 minutes in all; doesn’t party often, strictly doesn’t consume any solids after 0730pm, is an occasional social drinker and smoker and usually is in bed by 1030pm. He is so anal about his schedule that he can get unprofessional at times i.e. not shoot beyond 9pm, refrain promotional drives at night and so on.
get your point satyam and agree that akshay has perhaops aged the best amongst the rest. and he doesnt seem to be into steroids (yet)!
But a face lift cant be ruled out esp from this pic–
but what the heck is this flick–who are the director and actress? he seems to have a release every month

It’s quite clear that he’s recently had a face lift. But it’s done well, and doesn’t draw attention to itself.
