Madhuri Dixit, Huma Qureshi have steamy love scenes in Dedh Ishqiya
In Abhishek Choubey’s directorial venture Dedh Ishqiya actress Madhuri Dixit will do some intimate scenes with veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah.
Dedh Ishqiya is a sequel to Vidya Balan-starrer Ishqiya. In the 2010-hit film Ishqiya, Vidya Balan and Arshad Warsi did some intimate scenes, while in the sequel Madhuri and Naseeruddin will have some steamy love scenes.
“It is not easy to shoot intimate scenes. Actors have to trust my vision. And I had to make sure I didn’t let her and the other actors down,” director Abhishek Choubey said in a statement here. Besides, actress Huma Qureshi and Arshad Warsi will also get intimate in Dedh Ishqiya,” the statement said.
Madhuri will portray the role of Begum Para. Her role is different from Vidya Balan’s role in Ishqiya.
In the sequel, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi will be reprising their roles.
The film is produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and co-produced by Shemaroo productions and is likely to release early next year.
She must be same age as Sridevi…did you think Sri looked old in EV? They use special ‘diffuser’ camera and ofcourse there is lot of plastic surgery/botox involved. I thought she looked a bit old in Devdas in certain scenes. Isquiya was the reason why MD relocated to India and proactively sought role in DI. I hope it is as good as part 1, if not better. Can’t wait to watch it.
Diffuse light and flash do exist but there is no such thing as diffuser camera! but yes in post production (edit) miracles can happen. When Rajnikant can have six packs then why not aging Madhuri & Shri can’t be made look younger.
“Madhuri Dixit, Huma Qureshi have steamy love scenes in Dedh Ishqiya”
I hope by this they also mean steamy scenes with EACH OTHER..I hope they ‘live life to the fullest’ and give ‘deeper’ meaning to this 2013 existential philosophy of Ayan and Ranbir..by ‘exploring’ one another erotically..
This is DEDH ISHQIYA after all..not any SEEDHA SAADHA ISHQIYA..
I would love it to be, as Arshad says in the first part, ‘ Aapka pyaar pyaar..aur hamara sex..”
I guess sequel are always part 2 but this is dedh means 1 and half aside original one has lot of innovative abuses and I guess chutium shulphate was one of those
Visual and anurag just know this terrain better than most
“Atlast naseeruddin Shah got to romance the pretty diva.”
haha hope his ‘angst’ and bitterness reduces now… 🙂
after vidya, madhuri–naseer is on cloud 9
When a guy like vishal who has pretty strong command over Hindi terrain resort to using mumbaiyya slang (dedh is indeed not seedha Sadha) and sex and sleaze as promotion things indeed doesn’t look bright
Aside watched glimpses of ek thi dayan a pretty week film and konkana sen overshadowed everybody including lead hashmi
Like kalki its huma quereshi to get some big banner but again negligible acting talent hurts and these are the people who always cried about family nepotism and now doing same and are pretty eager to use star kids as brand name rather than introducing new faces
GF: True. Did you happen to check out Bharadwaj’s Matru though- a middling effort but is much better than 7 Khoon Maaf (with an expectedly fine Pankaj Kapoor performance. Also thought Shabana Azmi’s act here was her best in recent times).
And I loved the 1st half of the Bharadwaj produced “Ek Thi Daayan”- it works like a companion piece (but a better one than the former) to Makdi. And Konkana is scintillating here. The second half though is a real dampener. In fact it seemed to me that the 2nd half belonged to some other film. And then I came across the original story on which the film is based (written by Konkana’s dad Mukul Sharma who also used to do the Mindsport column in Times of India)- unsurprisingly the original story ends almost exactly where the 1st half of the film ends! I am assuming Ekta Kapoor, being the co-producer, must have interfered in the making and the director ending up making a different film. That said, would still recommend people to give this a try- in its best moments it remains the best horror film Hindi cinema has come out with
I did see Matru…there’s a lot I liked in it, some of the politics, (even if it’s pretty cookie-cutter stuff) a lot of Bhardwaj’s usual strengths in terms of atmosphere and certain scenes are memorable for their humor and for some of the performances (Imran Khan impressed me more here than anywhere else, and not simply because he threw on a bunch of facial hair and played “local”, but because his character here isn’t just another spin on the urbane lover he does in his sleep elsewhere, and Khan seemed to be engaged here every step of the way) but for all this the film just loses steam, it’s altogether pretty uneven and could have been paced a whole lot better. I’d easily take this over the even more inert (and pointless) 7KM, but this wasn’t quite the Bhardwaj of Maqbool, Omkara, The Blue Umbrella or even Kaminey.
the whole media which proped up teesta as some downtrodden in case of gujrat case is the granddaughter of m.c stelvad the first attorney general of india the known nehruvian (congressi)
Everyone understood congress’ conspiracy of godhra in gujarat. It was becoming clear after verdict of each case every other year where dozens of congressi are convicted in jail now. Final verdict on Modi by supreme court last year made it all clear. Muzzaffarnagar’s example is evident. Where congressi again blames Modi given the opportunity. That is their strategy to power to Malign anyone who stands against them. They did with amazig job breaking Team anna aswell. That’s why Modi is slated to landslide support.
Btw, public never came across any statement or video where modi speaks against a community, his language has been always of unity and prosperity. Congressi chamche still try to re-butt him by twisting his words but instead their communal mentality is getting exposed now. Even nitish blames modi divisive figure blaming him directly responsible for patna blasts. They say their own rally never met blasts and he is divisive figure thus blasts are justified.
This should be a fun watch…..
as much as I have started disliking Naseer off screen, I just can not dislike him on screen. he is just so damn talented.
Man, Huma looks horny!!! Neha Dhupia and Huma are the two women that really ‘get up’ the pulse of some men like me..especially if you see them the first thing in the morning!!!
