Ranbir Kapoor’s next film with Ayan Mukerji has Alia Bhatt as the leading lady and finally we have some news about it. The film which is being expected to be a trilogy starring Ranbir in the role of a superhero will now kickstart in February next year.

Currently Ranbir is busy promoting his upcoming film Bombay Velvet where as Alia is busy with Shaandaar. The duo are expected to warp up their projects for the year soon so that they can start working on Ayan’s film early next year. Ranbir has Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos and Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha to complete and both are slated to release this year.

Since Ayan and Ranbir share a close bond, we hear the actor decided to allot his film the top slot next year. There are speculations that this film will be a trilogy. This is the first time Ranbir will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt.

  1. Yeah cmon:
After deepika, katrina kapoor, anu, it’s the turn of Alia 😉

Should be a nice film from an underrated director …

Ps: as for Alia, the only concern is that maybe she had ‘peaked’ too early…somewhat ‘precociously’

  2. Alia and Ranbir. Interesting combination.

Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor or Parineeti Chopra will be another good combination.

  3. I loved both movies from Ayan Mukherjee, didn’t expected him to go through the Super-hero route. Would have preferred to see the ‘trilogy of sorts’ with Wake Up Sid and YJHD leading actor’s realization characters before taking on the Super-hero trilogy.
