Didn’t even know about this. Bachchan even in the fleeting glimpses here is pretty arresting. VVC did a good enough job of creating the shell of an icon in Eklavya, hopefully here he’s given him something more substantial.
Wow this looks really good. I thought Neil Nitin Mukesh almost stole the trailer with his dialogues but then of course AB did with the last line. NNN has a prospective career as a villain, I liked him a lot in Kaththi and he looks promising here as well. Did not know John Abraham was in this but his acting looks like his role in Madras Cafe.
Solid teaser here. I wish though that Nambiar would have cast actors with far more gravitas (other than Bachchan, the cast doesn’t intersest me too much even if I don’t mind Farhan or Neil, the latter was quite enjoyable as a hammy villain in Players). Incidentally’s Nambiar’s “David” remains criminally under-seen (had some very effective performances by Neil and Vikram, and was stunningly shot throughout).
Wazir will be hitting Indian screens on December 4 this year. The film, which was earlier speculated to release on October 2, will now release two months later.
Farhan Akhter seems to have delivered a fine performance here. Action looking top notch and visuals are also catchy.Bachchan looking good in some scenes but not that good in drunk scenes where hamming is evident. Overall a good trailer.
I am actually quite happy with this film’s trailer and as a fan of Amit. What however worries me, is that,I saw this preview in December 2014 when PK was released! Why show a pre-view a year before?!!
This reeks of something dangerous and insecure. Of course I may be wrong. PK and MUGHAL-E-AZAM took hell a lot of time to appear as sanctioned films. But still, today, to release a preview almost 12 months before and not have the movie release symbolizes some kind of trouble at the script-level or at the ‘baniyagiri’ level. I just pray, that the problems lie only at the baniyagiri level.
VVC said at the 2nd trailer launch that he was not happy with the VFX on BigB’s legs so he sent the film again for post-production.
Also during shooting, VVC was happy with Bejoy’s style but not with the storytelling so he told Bejoy to reshoot some scenes under his supervision.
simple sweet song sung by reliable singers…sonu has forced his way onto my favorite list of singers…he gets better as the years go by and shreya is magical as always.
The song looks good and Bachchan seems to be enjoying it like anything. The amazing thing here one can notice is Bachchan showing neck to neck energy/ enthuisism with Farhan Akhter at this age. Kudos to him for all this!
SIR Mr Amitabh Bachchan nearly forced me to pick up my guitar after a king time -(thankfully I didn’t pick it up tho)
There are some tracks that are meant to awaken the guitar aficionado (thankfully I didn’t let mine fully wake up)
But the first four lines underline the brilliance of this man & the calibre of this singing voice
People are fans of his acting skills but I’ve yet to find a singing work of his that I didn’t like
(& mind u this praise is not like that of blind fans –its v v hard to earn!!!)
Will add my DISGUST— Farhan akhtar for his intentions and ambitions destroys even rapaes the rest of this song making it a regulation song..what a shame
But anyhow-4 the first 4 lines
Yaari, teri yaari Chal maana is bari
Sari meri fiqrein

Oob lagi mujhko teri bimari..
