  1. While few contemplated that the two will romance on the big screens but this reportedly is not the case. If a report in Bollywood Life is to be believed then Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh will be playing siblings in this film. Further, this movie is based on a chapter from the Mughal Empire’s regime.

The report further adds, “Kareena will be seen playing the role of the First Lady of the Mughal Empire, Jahanara Begum. She was the daughter of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. Her brothers were Crown prince Dara Shikoh and Emperor Aurangzeb”.

Speaking of Bebo, the actress who is a Begum in real life as well as she married Saif Ali Khan (The Nawab of Pataudi) pulling off this character won’t be tough for her!

Meanwhile, we guess then Ranveer Singh might play the role of Aurangzeb as some other reports also suggest that the enthusiastic actor is likely to play the ruthless ruler Aurangzeb. Be it whichever character, we believe that Ranveer will put his best foot forward.

  2. I guess that this will be more along the lines of Padmavat rather than Baahubali. Huge sets, slow pacing, love affairs, heart breaks, adultery, siblings rivalry etc.. A mix of K3G and KANK in ancient times.

  4. Instead Kjo ccould have attempted Mughal E Azam. Ranbir as Salim, Padukone as Anarkali, Bachchan or Rishi Kapoor as Akbar.

I think K Asif should not be troubled in his grave. Already KJo has killed Mukul Anand again in his grave by remaking AGNEEPATH with HR and turning it into a ‘PAANI’path with HR’s incessant crying.

  5. KJO trying period movie? It could be grand looking boring movie. Although should be a big grosser with such star cast and the hype it will generate.
