Tanhaji is sure shot hit. Does Ajay have enough dare to show the true story where Saif’s character Uday Rathod will kill Tanhaji? Tanhaji will die in the end but he might kill Uday as well before his death in the movie. Like the cheap way Bhansali made Khilji’s sidekick kill Shahid in Padmaavat(when its not even true by any stretch of imagination).
Saif can deliver in a 2nd tier role like he did in DCH & Omkara. Despite War, the return of 2 hero or multi hero films is a distant dream unless one is a junior artist (War) or an erstwhile (Bobby in HF4) or a super senior (Thugs..) or a plain second rung supporting actor (Tanhaji).

Akshay never mounted his 100th film as Ajay, he’s past 120 films by now. Aamir is around 46 films and should celebrate his 50th film as he’ll never make it to 100 films. SRK is around 75 films and Salman around 90 films. Salman has chance for 100 films in next 5 years.
Akshay can try a 1000 more economically viable small time ratty hits with his idiotic expressions & crass comic timing yet would never deliver an Atbb, historic film like Hahk or 3 idiots & nor will he ever deliver a hgoty or record opener like War, not even if he does Dhoom 4. Such is the worthlessness of his legacy.

His name was Tanaji Malusare. Shantaram through his studio Prabhat films made a film on him in 1933 starring Master Vinayak.
And getting a 2nd tier actor like Saif Ali Khan is disappointing – to put it very kindly..
