Saw the Gandhi Godse Trailer at the Cirkus screening . It looks interesting. Gandhi with all his flaws did not deserve to be shot . It made Sardar weaker and resulted in his untimely death which was really bad for Bharat .

Shezada trailer is superb . it is a blockbuster loading .
Nepotism, doodh mango kheer dengey , maa ka pyaar .. all punch lines hit hard!
Songs also were easy listen . Maza aa gaya !

Of course it is not for people who do not like rooted movies like RRR , SIMPLE.

While Rajamouli et al make cinematic spectacles rooted in Indian tradition, creating a world that to global audiences unique even in its over-the-topness, Bollywood keeps on making MI or Fast and Furious clones without the technical finesse. Why would Indians watch?
But that used to make these movies before too. Of course they did, we had no choice. Now OTT gives us choice for nearly free. Why would we go to the theater for a pale, dated, imitation?
Forget art. Think of a movie as a product. Why would you not differentiate it from your competitors? When John Abraham in the trailer threatens world annihilation, all I could think of was Dr Evil in Austin Powers doing exactly the same as spoof.
Even the secret evil missile in the trailer is phallus-shaped, again a callback almost to Austin Powers, except this is dead serious.
I wish I could write the stories, not for any reason other than I don’t want Bollywood, which I grew up loving, going like this. Problem is (and I say this having dealt with studios) decisions are taken by entitled, super privileged early 20s, as “VP of content”
The decision is like this “money heist, we need Indian money heist”, “squid game, we need Indian squid game”. Because of the cultural balloon they stay in, any “Indian” story is foreign and “chalega naheen” because they can’t connect.

  No one gives two hoots over the theme of the film: one of the best films I saw last year was Vikram, which contained all the elements that this greatbong is criticising. Baby and A Wednesday contained similar elements used in countless Hollywood films before and are more rewatchable than most other spy or action films in Bollywood.

Avatar 2 is an extraordinary film that is best witnessed on the big parda. I thought watching it on IMAX will enhance my viewing experience, but at places I felt the movie was too good even for the best screens in India and that too in 3D.

Despite the huge leap Cameron has taken in VFX, he hasn’t compromised on storytelling. After a lacklustre first hour that struggles to hold the viewer’s interest, it grows on you with solid storytelling in the second half with a poignant last hour. Where it scores IMO is a very strong emotional connect and portraying strong familial relationship. And that’s where it scores above the Marvel movies.

Cameron is a master who succeeds at yet another big screen extravaganza. Any doubts over his filmmaking abilities will be put to rest with this

Rocket Boys 2 trailer promises the season 2 to be better than season 1.
Jim was just too good in season 1. The only character I did not like was the atrocious Saba Azad. Yeh Hritik ko kahan sey pasand aa gai, beats me.

Watching “Jaanbaaz Hindustan Key” currently. This one also features the typical Indian beauty Regina Cassandra . She had a limited role in Rocket Boys , but in this series she is the main lead . She looks so good in police uniform as well as in a Saari.
She is such a good actor that she shines over the veteran Meeta Vashisth in the series.

Hooda is stunningly fit for the role of Savarkar. Great choice. Savarkar was a very strict person who kept to himself and rarely in the limelight. Hooda shines in such roles. Film looks good per trailer.

I hope there’s a lot more science behind the manufacturing of the vaccine than shown in the trailer. A rousing human drama with adequate focus on the science behind the vaccine would make a solid film. Manufacturing a safe & effective vaccine at breakneck speed is one of India’s biggest achievements through the dark days of the Sino American virus.

Superb Trailer of Sam Bahadur. Vicky Kaushal excels. I am a bit concerned because The author of the book Sahmat on which Razi was made had alleged that Meghna Gulzar had altered the movie to show Pakistan in positive light.

  Raazi’s script was terrific and supremely patriotic in my opinion. Gulzar wanted to show how Alia’s character was torn between serving her nation and betraying a good husband and family. But she chose her nation every step of the way and didn’t even shy away from shooting her husband.
  
  The Tigers and Pathaans of the world are absolute hogwash though, where agents are shown turning against their own countries for love.

  The point he is making is that Meghna Promised him that she will not alter the ending , also IMO he is a bit salty because She got all the acclaim.
