A short spell of Vertigo

Vertigo is about the return of the repressed, the power of ghosts (the film works as a perfect ‘hauntology’), the scary logic of obsession and the coincidences between obsession and an enterprise called ‘art’. Combining all these films one gets, entirely appropriately, the film’s necrophiliac protagonist!
