  1. Ms Theron is, in one word, lethal. Beauty and the beast within.
After a long time, am kinda curious about a H’wood movie. Theron’s presence here has upped this factor by a few multiples.
If it garners positive takes, I’m pretty sure to watch this.

  4. Snow-white and the Huntsman looks amazing- I love Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth was an incredibly attractive Thor but the idea that Theron would ever be jealous of Kristen Stewart is unbelievable to the extreme- they should have cast Jennifer Lawrence as Snow White.

Satyam- Have you put up the trailer for the other Snow White Adaptation- Mirror Mirror by Tarsem Singh? I kind of feel sorry for him because Snow White and the Huntsman is an adaptation of the same fairytale releasing around the same type and it looks far superior.

World War Z looks uninteresting- Rock Of Ages could either be really terrible or really fun.

    • ami- i believe ‘mirror mirror’ released last friday. i like tarsem singh for his innovative use of visuals but sumwhere he often forgets to put in a strong script (immortals was easily the best looking shit i have seen in recent times). rgarding ‘snow white and the huntsman’, the presence of the smokin’ hot theron is my main attraction(had she not been there, i wouldn’t put up the trailer).chris hemsworth is beefy and handsome(thor wasn’t that good a film) but have never liked stewart

      • by the way ami i am waiting desperately for rock of ages. cruise is looking like million bucks and zeta-jones is a livewire. also the entire rock’n’roll atmosphere looks really interesting….and also ami, there is life beyond jennifer lawrence…lol(though i agree she is miles ahead of stewart).but it seems u want to cast her in every film. anyway all i care is snow white should look ‘tasty’ to me

        • LOL! I do like her a lot- but the only reason I brought her up as a casting choice for Snow White is because I can’t stand Stewart- they obviously wanted a big star actress for her role- and The Hunger Games looks like it’s all set to be the biggest female franchise after Twilight.

Although once you’ve cast Charlize Theron as the evil queen it is very difficult to think of an actress who is amazing enough to make it seem believable that Theron is jealous of her and insecure because of her- Natalie Portman, maybe?

      • Thor wasn’t a very good superhero movie for sure- but I really liked Chris Hemsworth- he is very good looking and charismatic.

As for Kristen Stewart- its terrible how the whole pathetic Twilight cast is showing up in every promising looking movie these days.

I like Charlize Theron too- no doubt she makes the trailer a lot more compelling- and the Evil Queen looks like a great character for Theron to have fun with- but it looks interesting enough even apart from her- very visually spectacular.

        • agreed here. theron is both ‘likeable’ and ‘lickable’ (lol).one of her oft overlooked performance is in the flop ‘the legend of bagger vance'(damon and will smith also star, dir-robert redford). i think instead of stewart, keira knightley could have been cast. apart from being one of my fav, this lady is incredibly talented. portman(who is quite similar lookwise to knightley) is also a good choice. by the way ami did u get to see agent vinod?

heres the longer scene. lol. loved her as a teacher. such a sweet lady. the first day of class she mentioned: “a lot of you probably recognize me because well i was in a movie called ‘total recall'”. and we all looked at each other in class and were like WTF is she talking about?? lol. then this woman actually put the tape on and made us watch the scene. lol. good times!! to me this movie is just one of those dumb movies that i enjoy now as a grown up.

Damon Lindelof to Rewrite ‘World War Z’ (Exclusive)

“The big-budget movie starring Brad Pitt, who also is one of the producers, has been troubled. Its release has been pushed from December 2012 to June, 21 2013, and is awaiting significant reshoots. Lindelof, the Lost co-creator and co-author of Ridley Scott and Fox’s Prometheus, is said to be focusing on World War Z’s third act. The production hopes to begin reshoots in September or October.”

disappointing news. i would think tho a zombie movie releasing around a festive time was always a bad idea. lol.

wow….it looks like something a will smith or a tom cruise should be in instead of a brad pitt. liked it…but kind of underwhelming for me after the huge anticipation.

  9. Found this quite excellent. An exhausted genre but they give it some interesting twists in addition to all the obvious political commentary. And Pitt really adds the right empathy to his part.

    • Thanks. Will catch it now. Was quite apprehensive about this because I some-what feel the summer block-buster super-hero/destruction genre has quite reached its saturation point. Never felt like this last year but this year..feeling same-old/same-old inspite of the fine Nolan touch to MAN OF STEEL..
