Ah Dev Anand in 1957 of Nau Do Gyarah days.
The lovely and melodious song;
Hum hain Rahi Pyaar Ke (lest people forget – it’s not Hum Hain Rahi Car Ke)
I just realised that the list of names in the left hand margin perhaps refers to the stars who have their coloured pictures in the issue.
It made me smile because there are no sensational headings to attract readers 🙂
Wondered who Jayne Mansfield was. It seems she was an actress of the 50s and 60s.

Yeah agree- all songs were v good-esp check out this 1 anya–Sd burman was really rdburman dad –nice lyrics too…
Saw this movie 2-3 years ago- will hav to revisit it- but do remember that it captured dev anands appeal & persona( that I like a lot)
There are rumours of dev anand ghost directing it himself (though seems unlikely from his later senile works)
Ps: theres a certain European cinema touch in this simple film& the conflict of excess
