    He produced a number of Hindi films too — among others Prem Nagar (Rajesh Khanna), during Jeetendra Southern phase in the 80s Tohfa, Maqsad, then Insaaf ki Awaaz (Rekha). In more recent times Hum Aap Ke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (Anil Kapoor/Kajol).

    His Hindi stuff, remakes or not, hardly sets him apart in any sense. I don’t know if he has anything more worthwhile in Telugu. But he certainly was a very prolific producer.

    HIs film under Suresh Productions Ramudu Bheemudu was a blockbuster.

    One of the genuine producers in south film industry and who holds guinness record for producing over 150 films in 13 languages by an individual. I think he got the record when he did even 100 films and I doubt anyone would break it.
