Dunki
Watched it last night. I can affirm that Hirani is past it, really. Can’t see him coming back from such a poor film. This reminds me if Subhash Ghai at the times of Yaadein or Kisna. A film maker who had lost the plot.

Finally Watched Fighter.
First thing first. Anil Kapoor and not Hrithik is THE star for me in Fighter. Anil Kapoor has The most defined role and meaningful dialogues. For Example, “Jo Team Man nahi hota wo Team Ka dushman hota hai” and “Jung mein koi MoM nahi hota. waha sirf haar ya jeet hoti hai”

Fighter takes viewers on a journey of blending aerial action with familiar Bollywood melodramatic cliches. While it delivers gripping moments, the film falls short in certain aspects, leaving a mixed impression.
The movie begins slowly, introducing characters in familiar ways, including a scene reminiscent of Hrithik’s entrance from War. Despite some sarcastic banter between Hrithik and Deepika, the initial setup lacks impact. However, the narrative gains momentum with the portrayal of the Pulwama attack and India’s response, injecting intensity into the storyline and setting the stage for 2nd half.

It was such an immersive and engaging piece of cinematic experience. Powered with emotions, conflicts, real life narrative with equally wonderful visuals, and brilliant performances, the movie delivers and how. Fighter is a rare movie that succeeds on almost every level, where each character, scene, visuals, aerial and land based action, camaraderie, romance, and geo political tensions are displayed with such perfection.

Saw Dunki finally. Dunki is a good family watch..it’s very old fashioned old school type of movie the kind Yash Chopra would have made. the biggest issue of the movie is there is no relatability..i couldn’t relate to anything going on the screen as that whole topic of immigration and going illegally is hard to understand for a person not facing such dire needs..the emotional scenes were good specially the last 20 mins and that Sonu Nigam song is lovely..the comedy I didn’t like much..emotional scenes were better i thought..overall good family watch and specially if you like old school romances and old style film making this is a good one for you…
